- We always strive to ensure inclusion with regards to cultural, traditional and religious needs. We also like to know the simple things that make a big difference in someone’s personal care, like how they like their tea. We recognise that elderly care is often about continuing lifelong enjoyments and not varying or changing them
- We recognise that not everyone requires personal daily care, some may just need a befriender to keep them company, listening to music play games (online or traditional) or simply go for a walk or go shopping. We provide care that suits your loved one. We do not assume what is required – we listen.

Mobility Care
We support families whose loved ones may have varying types of mobility issues. Please be assured that all our qualified carers are trained to support most levels of care required. Should your loved one require help with a wheelchair, frame or walking stick, please let us know which mobility needs you are looking for. All our carers receive continual training to ensure that they are able to meet the needs of your relative/s.
Medical Care
We do not supply nursing care, however we can work closely with the local GP Practice. We are able to assist with diagnosis like asthma eczema, and carers are trained to administer medication. Carers may be required to attend reviews to help recognise potential issues that may arise whilst caring. These maybe infections, and high temperatures.
Please be assured that due to recently announced government legislation all carers will have to be doubly vaccinated.
Daily Care
Daily care is solely about your family member. We encourage the person receiving the care to take part in the decisions made around their care whenever possible. From the onset we want to know about: the routine that suits them; what personal care they need; what breakfast, lunch and dinner they enjoy; which programmes they enjoy; what they enjoy doing to relax. From IT help to programming the TV, we believe that person centred care is not just a theory – it’s our continual day to day practice.
Befriending
At Blossom Tree we recognise that elderly care does not always equate to personal care. As we mature in age, loneliness may become normalised, and this is when a befriender may be more favourable. A befriender is a trained carer who may be required purely for day to day engagement, conversation and quite simply daily company and a listening ear. We always strive to ensure that the needs of your loved one are reflected in the carer that we supply.
