These roles would suit nannies living locally in Surrey or within Southeast London, who can travel easily for short‑notice or flexible bookings.
About the Roles
Our flexible nanny positions vary depending on family needs and may include part‑time or ad‑hoc support. These roles are ideal for nannies seeking hours that suit their lifestyle, with opportunities to choose shifts that align with your availability.
Work may include:
- Before‑ and after‑school care
- Daytime support for younger children
- SEN‑focused care and structured routines
- Safe‑sleeping support for babies and toddlers
- Holiday cover or weekend availability (optional)
You will work within family homes, providing nurturing, responsive care and supporting children’s development through play, routine, and positive engagement.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred) DBS Checking Service – Blossomtree Family Services DBS checks for adult social care roles – GOV.UK
- Right to work in the UK Checking a job applicant’s right to work – GOV.UK
- Two professional childcare references
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding awareness
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certification
- Sen Experience (minimum 2 years
Awareness of Safer Sleeping Help for early years providers : Safer sleep
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and child‑centred approach
- Ability to work independently in sole‑charge roles
